Water Babies

It was super hot here the last few days, and for the Heldman boys, that means getting as wet as possible as often as possible. We started our sojourn of soaking by visiting Legoland on Friday with Linus and Sadie. The boys were out of their minds thrilled with the fact that they could splash in puddles, get shot with streams of water and have buckets of water dumped on their heads. This was a dream come true! They literally screamed and danced with joy. Lucas would buzz by me long enough to just yell "Fun!" Ethan kept screaming "Ethan's SO WET!" It was an awesome time!

On Saturday, we continued the waterfest with swimming lessons. The boys did great. Not surprisingly, they both loved being in the water and were really at ease. They learned some great skills and took instruction well. I was really proud of them and am so looking forward to the time when they are competent swimmers, something I can't really say for myself. Thanks Gaga for joining us at the lesson!

The water called to us one more time, as we took to our pool on Sunday. Pop-pop helped us out and we enjoyed a fun-filled morning of zooming around in our little float boats and practicing what we learned in swim class. By the time we hit the bath on Sunday night, I swear the boys had grown gills!!
