So Much To Say

Talking is awesome! It gives us such insight into what has been going on in those little heads for the past sixteen months. Lucas mastered the word "car" and takes every opportunity to point out each one he encounters, be it a toy one in his room or a parking lot full of them. Note that he points each and every one out individually, so walking through a parking lot means that I am treated to about fifty rounds of "car!" We have also discovered that Lucas currently lacks volume control. Whether he is asking for "water" or pointing out a "car" he does it as if he is managing a hostage crisis without a megaphone.

Ethan is big on closure. Every time he puts down a toy or leaves the room he says "bye-bye". If a toy goes in a drawer or in a box, he wishes it "night, night". Seriously, he does this about a hundred times a day. It is adorable every time!
