Ethan has a new interest – photography. One day he just asked to take some pictures and had a great time capturing anything around him he found interesting. Since then, he has had at least one photo session a day.
He loves the entire process – deciding what to shoot, setting up the shot, uploading the pics to the computer and choosing his favorites for his portfolio. Lucas has taken on the role of editor, pointing out which shots are too blurry to keep. Ethan defers to Lucas’s self-proclaimed expertise.
Looking at his collection of photos, now numbering close to a thousand, you really get great insight into what his world looks like. Adults tower over him like giants and things like the contents of the recycling bin are details worth studying. It is fascinating to see his mind at work, and his creativity blossoming.
So here are some more samples of the Ethan Heldman Collection:

Dad here. Someone please tell me this is typical, and that I shouldn't enroll him in photography classes tomorrow...
Those are pretty good, actually!
He has a great eye and photographs things (silverware drawer!) that most of us wouldn't think of taking a picture of. And the angles he uses. Keep him going!
Wow! These are amazing! great composition! find those photography classes.
