My kids are getting too smart. Noah and I encourage our children to believe that they are capable problem solvers. However, their solutions can lead to problems for me!
Today we were getting ready to go to one of our favorite places, the Playhouse Cafe, which we simply call the Playhouse. Lucas insisted that he go sans pants. I told him that you have to wear pants to go to the Playhouse. Ethan came over to us and said, with a big satisfied smile, "How about, no go Playhouse, and Lukey no wear pants." Lukey was on board. Thanks for this brilliant solution, Ethan. Unfortunately, we were in fact going to go to the Playhouse, where we were meeting several people and attending a class that we had already paid for, so despite his impressive logical reasoning, everyone needed to get their pants on. :)
