Tonight in the bath, Lucas kept saying "Gandhi". Since we have not yet encountered any stories about the Indian Independence Movement written by Dr. Seuss, I don't believe he has yet heard of "Gandhi". Unable to decipher what he really was trying to say, I decided to go with it.
"Lucas, are you saying "Gandhi"?"
"Yes."
"Well, then you should know that Gandhi was an important person."
"Yes."
"Lucas, can you think of anyone else who is important?"
(After thinking a moment) "Santa."
So our list of Important People According to Lucas has begun: 1) Gandhi; 2) Santa. We'll keep you informed as we add to the list.
